Make your apartment fall proof: 6 tips

The streets are turning yellow and orange and at night you are reaching for your warm blanket earlier and earlier. That means autumn is here! Make your apartment fall-proof thanks to these tips .

1. Make your apartment warmer and cozier

Lay down a thick carpet or rug to insulate cold floors and keep your feet warm. This will make your apartment extra cozy.
Use warm plaids, blankets and pillows in fall colors such as red, orange, brown and yellow. Place them over your sofa and bed for extra comfort.
Put on a background music or use an app with sounds of rain, wind or crackling fireplace to complete the atmosphere.
If you have a smart thermostat, set it to heat your apartment just before you get home and lower it when you’re gone.
