1. Sustainable and responsible travel
- We are increasingly choosing destinations that make efforts to reduce their carbon footprint. This is also called “fair travel.” E.g. Using solar energy, contributing to waste reduction and growing their own vegetables.
- Travelers engage in community travel. Here they choose destinations within local communities and stay with families and/or participate in local (volunteer) projects.
